“Educate yourself” — Nigerian singer Buju BNXN fires back at Fat Joe after ‘fake Buju’ comment

Nigerian singer BNXN has reacted strongly after American rapper Fat Joe made comments about his name during a podc ast.

Speaking alongside Buju Banton, Fat Joe reportedly referred to BNXN as “fake Buju,” suggesting that he had to change his name after being called out.

In response, BNXN took to X to address the remark, criticising what he described as misinformation about African music and its artists, and telling Fat Joe to educate himself.
